Population Register (Kranshi)

Have you picked up your temporary residence permit? If so, you can use this page to make an appointment to register with the Curaçao Population Registry, Kranshi, and then make an appointment to pick up your ID card (sédula).

This is by appointment only.

In-person visit

You must be present in person when registering with the Population Registry and picking up your ID card (sédula).

What do you need to bring for registration?

For your appointment at Kranshi, you must bring the following documents:

• A valid passport (containing the residence permit stamp from the Curaçao Admission Organization);
• The printed decision regarding the residence permit;
• Original birth certificate, issued within the last year;
• Your correct address (street name and number) here on Curaçao.
• Proof of address (permission from the primary resident, notary deed of sale, lease agreement, building permit)

Schedule an appointment for your ID card (sédula)
If you are 12 years of age or older and are registered in the Curaçao Personal Data Registry, you must be in possession of an identity card (sédula). To apply for an identity card (sédula), you must make an appointment.

When applying for an identity card (sédula), you must present the following:

• A valid passport;

• Cash or a debit card to pay for the identity card (sédula).

You can easily select a date and time to have your ID card (sédula) issued at Kranshi through the appointment module.
