The policy regarding minors (up to 18 years of age) is aimed at ensuring their safety, stability, and continuity in their care situation. Given the vulnerable position of children, applications for temporary residence submitted by or on behalf of a minor who is a “ ” will, in principle, be given priority, taking into account the minor’s personal situation. Applications from parents of minor children are also carefully assessed. This prioritizes the importance of family unity, aiming to prevent children from being separated from their parents as much as possible.
